On December 21st, Warren Zaïre-Emery, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, visited Kigali Pele Stadium to meet with players of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy as part of the partnership between the club and VisitRwanda.
Upon arrival, Warren was greeted by 54 young athletes aged 9 to 16 who formed a guard of honor. The visit included a festive and friendly training session where Warren engaged with the players.
Warren also took the opportunity to chat with the local players and coaches, as well as joining in training drills to provide valuable tips and tricks. This experience served as motivation for the upcoming Paris Saint-Germain Academy World Cup in May 2024.
