The Bristol Bears are saying goodbye to 17 players at the end of the season, including Dan Thomas, Ed Holmes, Callum Sheedy, Piers O’Conor, Kyle Sinckler, and Magnus Bradbury.
– Welsh back-rower Thomas and lock Holmes are leaving, along with Sheedy, O’Conor, Sinckler, and Bradbury.
– Thomas made 144 appearances for the Bears, and Holmes made 102.
Other players leaving include Charlie Powell, Jono Benz-Salomon, Fred Davies, Jay Tyack, Harry Ascherl, Oscar Lennon, Aristot Benz-Salomon, Macenzzie Duncan, Charlie Rice, Tom Sims, and Matty Jones.
Director of rugby, Pat Lam, expressed gratitude for the players’ contributions and wished them well in their future endeavors. The club is in negotiations with other players, and the 2024-25 retained list will be confirmed soon.
