The American Alliance of Museums (AAM) will hold its 2024 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo in Baltimore from May 16 to 19, with the theme “Thriving museums, healthy communities”.
The preliminary programme is released, registrations are open with Early Bird rates available until February 2.
The event will explore the role of museums in promoting health and wellness, covering societal, organizational, community, and individual wellbeing initiatives.
Delegates can expect networking opportunities, over 350 exhibitors in the MuseumExpo, hands-on workshops, and four session tracks focused on improving health and wellbeing. These tracks include: Personal, Organizational, Community, and Society.
The AAM Annual Meeting is the largest museum conference in the US, hosting institutions of all types and sizes.
The 2023 event featured over 300 speakers and a range of travelling exhibitions showcased at MuseumExpo. It also hosted the Future of Museums Summit, a two-day virtual event exploring various topics.
