Prabowo Subianto Swears to Develop Food Estate to Prosper Farmers so That Youth Willing to Become Farmers

In a dazzling display of resilience and determination, Prabowo Subianto, the second presidential candidate in Indonesia, unveiled his ambitious vision to develop a food estate or rice granary during a captivating dialogue with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Indonesia (Kadin): Towards Indonesia Emas 2045, held at the Djakarta Theater on a mesmerizing Friday (12/1/2024).

With fervent passion, Prabowo expressed his unwavering dedication to the concept of a food estate, which he believes will liberate Indonesia from the shackles of dependence on other countries. He fervently debunked the prevailing notion of cheap rice imports from Vietnam, warning of the dire consequences that could ensue if Vietnam decides to cease exporting rice to Indonesia, thereby imperiling the welfare of the Indonesian people.

At the heart of his impassioned discourse is the fundamental right for farmers to attain prosperity through the implementation of a food estate. Prabowo underscored the imperative of ensuring that farmers receive their entitlements, such as subsidized fertilizers, as a means to bolster their livelihoods.

He envisioned a future where farming would be a lucrative and attractive profession, inspiring a new generation of aspiring farmers. By championing the proper management and distribution of fertilizers, Prabowo seeks to cultivate an environment where the offspring of farmers are inspired to carry on the noble traditions of their ancestors.

This animated economic symposium held by Kadin saw the esteemed presence of presidential candidates Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo. Pranowo took the spotlight on the inaugural day, with Prabowo’s rescheduled appearance on the subsequent day, and Baswedan captivating the audience on the final evening.

In his compelling demonstration of leadership, Prabowo was joined by the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team, alongside the former Chairman of Kadin, Rosan Roeslani, and the Chairman of the PBB, Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

Prabowo’s resolute endeavor to establish a food estate to fortify food security and elevate the wellbeing of farmers mirrors his steadfast dedication to nurturing the agricultural landscape in Indonesia. Through his visionary mission, he aspires to ignite a newfound enthusiasm for farming amongst the younger generation, paving the way for a transformative renaissance in the agricultural sector and steering the nation towards self-sufficiency in food production.
