Monks Ale House in downtown has undergone exciting changes, including the transformation of the former Gandy Dancer Brewing area into a game room. This space is filled with vibrant retro video games like Ms. Pac-Man and newer additions such as Golden Tee PGA Tour and various pinball machines.

Owner Justin Henrichsen’s decision to convert the kitchen storage area into a game room has provided customers with an entertaining space to enjoy. This transformation has also resulted in additional seating in the bar area, making Monks Ale House an even more inviting place to socialize.

In addition to the game room, Monks now offers spaces for private gatherings, allowing customers to book the front room, the room with a stage for live entertainment, or the former pinball machine room. The availability of pizza buffets for celebratory events has also been introduced. The Monks Classic Double burger from the kitchen crew has been entered in the Downtown Burger Battle, appealing to burger aficionados.

Craft beer enthusiasts will be pleased to find a fantastic selection of beverages at Monks Ale House. With 50 ever-rotating draft lines, customers can always discover new and exciting options. Furthermore, plans are underway to introduce featured pizzas and unique creations in the future.

In collaboration with local artist Les Cotton, a stunning mural has been created in the game room, contributing to the lively atmosphere. The selection of games will be regularly updated to maintain an engaging experience for everyone.
