Even though he has hosted 24-hour charity livestreams before, he confesses that this year’s Christmas marathon is the one he’s dreading the most, owing to his intense fear of horses. Describing the animals as “unpredictable,” Aquilina has openly admitted that this will be a significant leap outside of his comfort zone.

Throughout the livestream, donors will be urged to contribute towards specific targets. The greater the donation, the more outlandish the challenge. For instance, if the donations reach €150, Aquilina has promised to bob for apples, and if the donations surpass €600, he has committed to consuming horse feed. But the ultimate trial will come if he reaches the €2,000 milestone, as this will necessitate him facing his fear and riding a horse for the very first time.
