The University of St. Thomas football team has announced their 11-game schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. Following an eight-win season and a second place finish in the Pioneer Football League, the Tommies are preparing for an exciting season.
The season begins with three of the first four games at O’Shaughnessy Stadium, starting with a season opener against Northern Iowa on Sept. 7, followed by home games against Black Hills State, and a trip to Lindenwood in Missouri to round out their non-conference schedule. PFL action begins on Saturday, Oct. 5, with St. Thomas hosting Stetson and taking on four other home opponents – University of San Diego, Drake, and Dayton – and hitting the road to play Marist, Valparaiso, Morehead State, and Butler.
Coach Glenn Caruso is excited about the 2024 schedule, which sees the team complete its full rotation in the PFL, playing every team in the conference both at home and away. This season will also mark Northern Iowa’s return to campus following one of the Tommies’ first Division I games in 2021.

Additionally, St. Thomas enters the 2024 season with the longest home win streak in college football, winning 31 straight games at O’Shaughnessy Stadium. They haven’t lost a regular season home game since Sept. 27, 2014, boasting a stretch of 42 straight home regular season wins.
Coach Caruso has led the Tommies to a 25-7 overall record, including a remarkable 21-3 mark in Pioneer Football League play, and is eagerly looking forward to the fourth year in FCS.
