Providence College’s men’s basketball team has achieved an impressive No. 23 ranking in both the AP Poll and Coaches Poll, reflecting their successful season. The team has maintained an 11-0 record when scoring 71 or more points, as well as a 5-0 record when hitting 10 or more threes in a game.
Notably, standout performances from individual players, such as Devin Carter and Josh Oduro, have contributed to the team’s success. Devin Carter leads the team in scoring and assists, and also ranks first in defensive rebounds in the BIG EAST. Meanwhile, Josh Oduro holds the fourth position in the BIG EAST with a .594 field goal percentage.
The addition of newcomers, including graduate students Ticket Gaines and Josh Oduro, has further strengthened the team’s lineup and overall performance.
Looking towards the future, the Friars are preparing for an important game against Creighton on January 6th. This game will serve as an opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and continue their successful season. The game is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
