– Despite facing racial barriers, he became an electromechanical designer at Hughes Aircraft and founded a branch of the Black Wings Flying Club.
– The exhibition will highlight his collaborations with Black architects and showcase his architectural plans, paintings, furniture designs, and a unique “selfie” mechanism he created for his camera.
– The exhibit opens on February 3 and runs through December 2024. Museum hours are Thursdays from 2-5 and Fridays through Sundays from 11-5.
