Samsung is poised to debut its latest lineup of gaming monitors at CES 2024, with a focus on OLED technology. The release includes three new models: the Odyssey OLED G9, OLED G8, and OLED G6, all featuring OLED Glare-Free Technology to enhance the gaming experience.
The 49″ curved ultra-wide Odyssey OLED G9 offers a DQHD resolution of 5,120×1,440 and a 32:9 aspect ratio, while the flat 32-inch OLED G8 has a 4K UHD resolution of 3,840×2,160 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both models boast a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GTG response time. The smaller 27″ QHD Odyssey OLED G6 also features a 360Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time.
OLED Glare-Free technology reduces light reflections and the monitors support VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro. Users can connect devices with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and enjoy VESA mount compatibility and a height adjustable stand (HAS) with tilt, swivel, and pivot control.
New multi-device connectivity features include Multi Control for easy transfer of images and text between Samsung devices, and included Samsung SmartThings Hub for IoT device control. The slim metal design and Core Lighting+ feature provide a seamless gaming environment, and the new slim metal stand has a tool-free assembly structure.
