Close to the Sun, a horror game deeply influenced by Bioshock, has officially been added to Xbox Game Pass. Set in the 19th Century on a massive vessel created by Nicola Tesla, the game offers an immersive horror experience.
Players will step into the shoes of Rose Archer, a journalist searching for her sister aboard the enigmatic ship Helios. Throughout the game, they will need to solve puzzles, unlock secret areas, and uncover the fate of Helios’ inhabitants. Like games such as Alien: Isolation and Outlast, players will be defenseless and must outsmart their terrifying pursuers to survive.
Close to the Sun is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming for Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscribers. Ultimate members can also stream the game through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
In addition to Close to the Sun, Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Editions will be joining Game Pass this month. However, four games are set to leave Xbox Game Pass in the first half of January.
The chilling and mysterious world of Close to the Sun, along with the promise of more games to come, make for an exciting start to the year for Xbox players. Will you dare to explore the secrets of Helios?
