Alright, hold onto your scarves, Liverpool fans! Our main man on the left, Andy Robertson, won’t be gracing the pitch for the rest of January due to a pesky shoulder injury that just won’t quit.
Our poor lad first got into this pickle back in October when he had a tussle with Spain’s goalie and ended up dislocating his shoulder. Ouch! That sounds like a right pain in the backside, doesn’t it? But fear not, we thought he’d be back in action in the new year. Turns out, fate had other ideas.
Jurgen Klopp, the man with the plan, revealed that our dear Robbo needs more time to get that shoulder shipshape. Apparently, the surgery was a bit of a palaver, and he’s got a long road ahead before he can join the team for training.
While it’s a bummer to see our mate on the sidelines, we’ve got to look to the future. Scotland’s big cheese, Steve Clarke, is hoping Robertson will be back in the game for the Euro 2024 warm-up matches in March. Sounds like a jolly good time, doesn’t it?
And let’s not forget Robertson’s 67 caps for Scotland. We missed him during the recent international games, but we held our own and secured a spot in Euro 2024. We’ll keep the fort held down until he’s back in action.
So, let’s send our good vibes and healing thoughts to our dear Andy Robertson as he embarks on this shoulder rehab journey. We can’t wait to hear the Kop roar when he’s back on the pitch, ready to take on the world once more. Until then, let’s keep that Liverpool spirit alive and kicking, my friends!
