Alright, folks, gather ’round because we’re about to say peace out to the one and only Lois Roche as she gears up to leave Charlton at the end of December. Yep, you heard it here first – our favorite midfielder will be bidding adieu to the Addicks once her contract runs out.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, the 30-year-old soccer sensation joined the Addicks squad in the summer of 2021, and let me tell you, she’s been killing it. As one of the club’s first full-time professional women’s players, Lois has been tearing up the field with her killer moves and undeniable talent.
But hold on, there’s more! Lois also nabbed the prestigious title of Charlton Athletic Community Trust Champion back in May 2023. This honor was given to her in recognition of her outstanding community work throughout the season. Talk about a triple threat – she’s got the skills, the star power, and a heart of gold.
Now, let’s hear it straight from the boss herself – Head Coach Karen Hills couldn’t stop raving about our girl Lois. She couldn’t help but gush about what a positive and all-around amazing presence Lois has been both on and off the pitch. It’s clear that she’s been a real game-changer for the club, and Coach Karen is wishing her nothing but the best as she embarks on her next soccer adventure.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper send-off without some good vibes from the Charlton crew. From the players to the fans, everyone is rooting for Lois as she kicks off the next chapter of her soccer journey. We’ll definitely miss her energy and spirit, but hey, we’re excited to see where her talents take her next.
So, Lois, if you’re listening, just know that you’ll always have a home here at Charlton, and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. Thank you for all the unforgettable memories and the countless victories – you truly are one in a million.
Here’s to you, Lois Roche – may your future be filled with even more epic goals, heartwarming moments, and of course, plenty of wins. Good luck out there, and don’t be a stranger!
