A 12-year-old lad from County Monaghan, Dáire Gorman, is causing a stir after starring in a heartwarming Christmas video posted by Liverpool Football Club. Dáire, who has Crommelin Syndrome and was born without arms from his elbow down and without a femur bone in both legs, got the VIP treatment at Anfield where he met the players and manager Jurgen Klopp.
It all kicked off when a video of Dáire shedding tears while listening to “You’ll Never Walk Alone” at Anfield went viral, tugging at the heartstrings of millions, including Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp himself. In a touching message to Dáire, Klopp expressed the club’s love for Dáire’s passion and extended an invitation for him and his family to visit Liverpool and meet the players.
Dáire and his fam made the trip to Liverpool earlier this month, and the club dropped a heartwarming video of their visit on Christmas Day.
