Police Launch Murder Probe in Hackney After Fatal Stabbing

On the morning of Tuesday, 26th December, law enforcement was notified of a stabbing incident on Cranwood Street, EC1, which has resulted in the commencement of a murder investigation. Sadly, the victim, a 49-year-old man, did not survive his stab wounds despite the efforts of emergency services.

As authorities diligently work to notify the victim’s next of kin, four individuals have been apprehended in connection with the crime. Two men, aged 49 and 42, along with two women, aged 35 and 44, have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder and are currently assisting the police with their inquiries.

A crime scene has been established at the location to facilitate the ongoing investigation, and individuals with relevant information are encouraged to come forward.
