In the early hours of last Friday, the London police guns and gangs section, in conjunction with the emergency response unit, executed a search on two properties in the west-end area of Commissioners Road West and Viscount Road. This initiative resulted in the discovery and confiscation of numerous firearms and a range of illicit drugs. The confiscated items included multiple shotguns, a rifle, ammunition, stolen identification and bank cards, suspected carfentanil, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and mannitol, with a collective value of $3,700.
Subsequent to the raid, a 35-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from London, were apprehended. Furthermore, an arrest warrant has been issued for a third suspect, 33-year-old William Pieszchala of London, who is presently being pursued by the authorities.
The charges levied against the woman and Pieszchala encompass offenses such as careless storage of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of a restricted weapon or prohibited device, and possession of property obtained through crime. In addition, the woman faces multiple counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, as well as failure to comply with a release order. In the meantime, the 28-year-old man is accused of two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Both the woman and the 28-year-old man are presently in police custody and are slated to appear in court on Thursday. At present, the authorities are actively seeking Pieszchala, who is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 170lbs, with a slim build, brown shoulder-length hair, facial hair, and blue eyes.
Law enforcement officials are advising individuals not to approach Pieszchala if sighted, but to promptly contact 911 to report his whereabouts. The search for the third suspect is ongoing.
