Counting Down the Days: London’s 10-Day Rain Forecast

Londoners, be prepared for a challenging start to the new year as the weather forecast predicts 10 consecutive days of constant rain from today (December 27) until the first few days of 2024. According to BBC Weather, this prolonged downpour will be accompanied by strong winds, creating a rather damp and gloomy period for the city.

Commencing today, the temperature will gradually decrease over the upcoming days. Anticipate 13C on Thursday (December 28), followed by 11C on Friday, 10C on Sunday, 9C on Monday (New Year’s Day), and 8C by Wednesday, January 3. It is evident that the cold will persist alongside the relentless rain.

London will have to endure the dismal weather until next Friday when there will be a brief appearance of sunshine on January 5, although this will be short-lived as an evening shower is expected to dampen the mood. The city will finally experience brighter skies and dry weather on Sunday, January 7, despite the temperature dropping to just 6C.

The positive aspect is that the sun will continue to shine on January 8 before the rain returns on January 9. The fluctuating weather in London is in full swing, but the prospect of sunshine is always a welcome sight amidst the downpours.
